Kona Ice has a patented flavor dispenspencing station on the side of their trucks known as the Flavorwave®. The project was to rebrand the look of the flavor pedals inside the Flavorwave® & for future flavors to come.

Kona Ice has a patented flavor dispenspencing station on the side of their trucks known as the Flavorwave®. The project was to rebrand the look of the flavor pedals inside the Flavorwave®.
Design/Illustration Process
• 2.25" wide x 4.5" tall
• branding needs to stay consistent through 100+ flavors
Creating the flavor decals we needed to create something that would be easily duplicatable for more flavors coming in the future. I wanted to keep the background drip/splash to reflect what color actually comes out of the spigots & onto the product. As for the title & name of the product it needed to be bold & noticable since the area is so small. The text in the flavor names reflects the motion of the Flavorwave® logo that is on the outside of the truck. Finally keeping the logos monocromatic helps the illustrations pop off the white background of the Flavorwave® itself.
